As Niğtaş A.Ş., our social compliance policy includes standards based on our core principles and values. Our goal is to ensure that the Social Compliance Policy becomes a corporate culture within Niğtaş A.Ş. For this purpose, social compliance standards have been established and started to be implemented.

Niğtaş A.Ş. undertakes to respect human rights in all our business activities with social compliance standards, to ensure that employees' information remains confidential and to provide all their rights within the framework of the law, to comply with occupational health and safety rules, to be sensitive to the environment, to create a workplace where open and honest communication, respect and value are seen among employees. In this context

  • Prevention of Forced and Compulsory Labor
    An employee is obliged to perform the work that he or she is obliged to do in return for remuneration pursuant to the employment contract established between him or her and the employer with his or her consent. Not to make the employee work overtime without his/her consent or work outside the employment contract,
  • Prevention of Child Labor
    To act in accordance with the procedures and principles of child and youth labor within the framework of institutional respect for the protection of children from all kinds of abuse, healthy development and the right to education, and not to employ anyone under the legal minimum age limit,
  • Prevention of Discrimination
    To employ employees not on the basis of language, religion, race, sect, color, ethnic origin, marital status, gender, political opinion, belief, age, pregnancy and disability or any other condition that may cause discrimination, but on the basis of their ability to do the job; to carry out remuneration, social benefits, promotion, dismissal and disciplinary practices with care in this direction; to provide equal opportunities to all employees in the performance of these jobs, except for the special working conditions granted by law to pregnant women, young workers and disabled people,
  • Working Hours
    To comply with the applicable laws and obligations in determining the working hours, to comply with the weekly and annual overtime limits and customer standards specified by law in case of overtime work, to pay the wages of the overtime work done by calculating the increased wage specified by law,

    To establish methods for each employee to communicate their wishes and complaints, to make timely and effective evaluation and feedback, and not to retaliate against the employee's wishes and complaints,
  • Compliance with Laws and Other Obligations
    To operate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and our customers' business partnership rules,
  • Prevention of Discipline, Harassment and Mistreatment
    To respect all employees, not to use corporal punishment, and not to allow verbal, physical, psychological harassment, pressure, threats or ill-treatment,
  • Bribery and Corruption
    That no gifts and payments to be gained from all our employees and suppliers will be accepted under any circumstances and that such requests will not be made, and that we will act within the framework of the NİĞTAŞ A.Ş. Code of Ethics determined and announced in this regard,

    To comply with applicable environmental legislation and customer standards, to prevent environmental pollution based on environmental aspects and impact assessment, to reduce pollution through effective waste management, and to conserve natural resources and reduce environmental impact through effective energy management,
  • Relations with Suppliers
    It undertakes to obtain the commitments of the supplier companies it works with regarding their compliance with social compliance issues, to evaluate them in terms of social compliance, to monitor the results of the evaluation with an action plan and to gradually increase their social compliance levels.When our suppliers encounter a situation or practice that violates the provisions of applicable legislation or the Code of Business Ethics, they can notify by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
