Plaster and Joint Fillers

Niğtaş natural calcium carbonate products provide good workability and improve application properties thanks to their nodular particle shape. In addition, it is preferred in plaster and joint applications due to its contributions such as reducing the amount of binder and costs, providing high whiteness, improving rheological and mechanical properties, increasing adhesion strength and shortening drying time.

Plasters used for decorative and functional purposes not only meet the aesthetic demands of customers, but also protect buildings from damage by acting as a water barrier but allowing water vapor to escape. Application operators require materials to be resistant to cracking and have good sanding properties. These requirements are achieved by formulating fine and coarse mineral particles in the right quantities.

Our calcium carbonate products provide high quantity and optimize consumption rates thanks to their superior whiteness properties and stable grain size distribution in mineral textured plaster applications. It provides a smooth application ease thanks to its non-scratching and low oil absorbency.

Joint fillers are used to fill the joint gaps of ceramic, marble, natural stone, glass mosaic coating materials in interior and exterior spaces, floors and walls. These fillers are expected to be smooth, abrasion resistant and non-cracking.
